The NTA Communications and Electronic Commerce Steering Committee is holding a meeting in conjunction with the NCSL Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 22-23rd. The NTA Steering Committee meeting will be held at the Bally's Hotel. Rooms are available at a rate of $110 per night and may be reserved by calling the Bally's Hotel at (702)739-4111, and referencing the National Tax Association (NTA) room block. Please reserve your room by June 20th.

Airfare Discounts: NCSL has negotiated airline travel discounts with United Airlines and Delta Airlines. If you would like to take advantage of these discounts, call Corporate Travel Services' NCSL desk at (800)825-3283.

Registration Fee/Meals: We will provide a continental breakfast and hot buffet lunch on Wednesday and provide coffee/soda/snacks during breaks on both days. A nominal $60 registration fee will cover expenses for meals/breaks as well as meeting space/audiovisual equipment. NCSL Social Event: Bally's Hotel will be the site for the NCSL Annual Meeting "Grand Finale" social event on Thursday, July 23rd from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (see http://www.leg.state.nv.us/ncsl/socialevents.htm for details). Steering Committee members who are staying over that night may attend this event free of charge, by requesting a ticket by July 10 from Scott Mackey at scott.mackey@ncsl.org.

Agenda: The NTA meeting will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday (with lunch and breakfast provided), and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday. No events are planned for Wednesday evening. The meeting is ending early on Thursday afternoon in order to permit attendees to get afternoon flights out to both the East and West coasts. The Operating Committee will provide additional details on the meeting agenda next month. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas.
